Analytica Achieves CMMI Level 3

Analytica, an award-winning consulting and information technology solutions provider to the US public sector, confirms its high-quality software development capabilities with the award of CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) for Development v1.3 at Maturity Level 3 (CMMI-DEV v1.3 ML3).

CMMI is a process improvement framework for software and engineering systems developed by Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and administered by the CMMI Institute.

Maturity Level 3 indicates that when appraised, Analytica was found to be achieving a combination of specific and generic goals in a broad range of process areas. The achievement of the Level comes as a byproduct of Analytica’s partnership with Process Innovation firm Broadsword Solutions (Broadsword).

“Analytica is pleased to have worked with Broadsword over the past year and half to help our Engineering Solutions Group formalize and mature our software development processes to achieve a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) appraisal at Maturity Level 3.” said Mariano Lopez, CEO of Analytica. “We are proud of our team and look forward to serving Federal and State Government customers with these improved process maturity capabilities.”

“Analytica has made a bold commitment to utilize an accelerated framework for continuous improvement based on the CMMI,” Broadsword’s president, Jeff Dalton, said. “We are honored to leverage our management consulting, engineering and process improvement solutions in support of Analytica’s mission to be the acknowledged expert in technology solutions to the US public sector.”
